Depeche Mode are having "I feel loved" remixed by Club 69. Peter Rauhhofer aka Club 69 has only done an acetate so far.The remix will most probably be on a USA (promo)release only. Just a reminder for you readers, the Club 69 remixes of "It's no good" were rejected by Martin Lee Gore for being to sped up, however the remixes became huge clubhits. Also the Uselink webpage informs that possible remixers for "Freelove" include Josh Wink.for more info check out the Danish Depeche web site @ http://www.uselink.dk/

Living Colour have announced the dates for the second U.S. leg of their comeback tour, which will find the hard rockers playing the East Coast and a couple of Midwest dates in early August. Following their unannounced first gig together in nearly sixyears in December, Living Colour played several sold-out club dates along the West Coast in May. So far this summer, the "Cult of Personality" crew has also hitSouth America and the European festival circuit.
The members of Living Colour, vocalist Corey Glover, guitarist Vernon Reid,
bassist Doug Wimbish and drummer Will Calhoun, have taken on various other
projects since the original demise of the group in 1995. Currently, Glover is acting in the independent film "Reunion 81," Reid is planning a mini-tour with jazz bassist Jack Bruce, and Calhoun and Wimbishare performing with Mos Def in Japan, according to Living Colour's publicist.
The band is discussing recording a new album, but no specific plans have
been made, the publicist said. Before disbanding, Living Colour released three studio albums, though none were as popular as their 1988 debut, Vivid. "Cult of Personality," the album's first single, was a smash hit and garnered the group a Grammy award for Best Hard Rock Performance.

Warren Cuccurullo was the guitar player in Duran Duran for 13 years with
original members singer Simon LeBon and keyboard player Nick Rhodes.
He is now putting together a band he had when he was 23. He is teaming up with former Missing Persons bandmates, dayglo-haired lead singer Dale Bozzio, who always performed with pieces of duct tape over her breasts and drummer Terry Bozzio, who he hasn't played with in 15 years. Missing Persons of course scored major chart success back in the early '80s with "Walking in
LA," "Words," "Mental Hopscotch" and "Destination Unknown" and then broke
up in 1986. street."He does have new music for the reunion. Some of this is older songs writtenwith Nick Rhodes and originally intended for Blondie and then for a solo project with Dale Bozzio.Cuccurullo is now going to use them for Missing Persons.Plus he's writing new material with Bozzio. Missing Persons played the House of Blues in Anaheim, CA on Jul 20.

Unconfirmed reports from EMI UK report that a singles box set similar to recent efforts from Erasure is due for Duran. The idea is to reconstruct the singles as they were released in the UK. No word on a release date.

Human League: We Did It for the Money
In an article in the Independent, a UK paper, Phil and the gals admit they did the Culture Club reunion tour because they were broke and in danger of losing their studio. And what a studio it is! Read the article for a fascinating (pun intended) look into the HL studio. :  http://www.independent.co.uk/story.jsp?story=83770

Jez Porat Reports: Depeche Mode / Front Line Assembly/ Delerium/ Colourbox / Wolfgang Press / M/A/R/R/S
According to the Delerium web page delerium.com, there are rumours that
Rhys Fulber might be producing and co-producing the next Delerium album.
The recording will commence as early as July, although this seems somewhat unlikely.
Meanwhile the next Front Line Assembly single will be entitled 'All Things
Must Perish', changed from 'Everything Must Die'. The album, 'Epitaph', is
described as 'Harder and darker than before'. Both the single and album are
finished and the mastering has been approved by Bill Leeb. The single will
hopefully be released on 11th September, the album in October.

Depeche Mode's upcoming European "Exciter Tour" will be opened by
Technique and Fad Gadget. Technique will be a special guest at the gigs in
Hamburg and Leipzig, and Fad Gadget will open for the rest of the gigs in
Europe. Back in 1980, Depeche Mode was the opening band for Fad Gadget. Poe opens in North America. The third single to be released from "Exciter" is "Freelove". From  our far flung corraspondant Jez:  Some brand new hot info from the
Erasure Info Service. The new Erasure single, "Moon & The Sky" has been

only released in the UK on promotional 12"s. There are also
tentative plans to re-issue some of Erasure's concert/compilation videos on
DVD.

First Depeche Mode DVD Due
Also from Jez:First DVD-single release for Depeche Mode According to a post on the Halo
webboard, it would appear that "Freelove", Depeche Mode's third single, would be released not only on 2 CD formats but also on a DVD. As for now, no tracklisting has been made available but it wouldn't be a surprise if some live tracks will end up on the single-DVD as some were recorded for MTV during the Philidelphia gig. More news as we get it. For the moment being, here's the tentative catalogue number at Mute: DVDBong32.
